Misfit Craziness July 4th Pictures

Gracie is telling Grandma a Secret!

Mark bought me Hugs and Kisses Fireworks!

The fireworks were better then we thought

Wish we would have bought more!

Fourth of July Fun!!!!

The Misfits Did It Again!

We had so much fun on July 4th but it was super busy and we were also very lucky to have the day off from work. It seems like it took forever to recoup from our vacation. We started out the morning by having breakfast with Gma @ Cracker Barrel which ended up being awful and taking forever...lol...but we made it through. Mark and I then headed off to Walmart to buy food and supplies for the party. Then I spent two crazy hours cooking like a mad woman and making sure everything ended up perfect. Then off to the Mauser house for food, fun, Rockband on the WII and fireworks, fireworks, fireworks and fireworks. We finally made it home about 2am to rest from the festivities.

Delayed Blogging

Ok so I know I promised the Colorado Trip would be up and ready to go...but that did not happen exactly as planned. Mark and I returned home sunday with everything that seemed good to go. When I returned to work though my staff had decided that the cat was away so the mice could in turn go crazy. So life has been non stop but finally calming down I guess. I am going to post the trip from ending to beginning since Mark has his camera and I haven't been able to upload pictures from his.

Thanks for your patience!!!! :)

Weekend in Dallas

Well we headed to Dallas for the weekend to attend my Aunt's memorial service. It was quite eventful and busy. Friday consisted of hanging out, Mark and Boo playing video games and me folding programs and rubbing my Dad's feet...geez he is spoiled(l0l). Saturday we had soccer and the memorial then we got to go play with my cousin's baby she is already 6 mths its amazing how fast time flies...when they are that little. At the memorial many of my parents friends attended and despite of the circumstances I was able ot catch up and hear some great stories, all in all it is day like my Aunt would have wanted. Then on top of everything else Arin was super sick with a raging fever and strep...but she is one tough little cookie...lol...I am so grateful for everything Mark did this weekend he was my rock and entertainment for many of my family and friends....lol...
Oh the poor princess was sick but she is so happy to laying on Mark.
Brenden and Arin just adore Mark and wish we would visit more often.

Im giving my sweet sister sugar while lounging on the couch...

the tylenol had kicked in at this point.

I am home now, home now
I've been waiting for forever to find you, to find youI
'm not alone now, alone now'
Cause you've taken in my heart from the cold
All I know is everytime I look into your eyes
I know, I know you're where I belong
I belong with you
You're where I belong
And I know it's the truth
You're part of my heart
There's nothing I can do
Oh, you're the one who keeps me warm
My baby, you're where I belong
You're my first taste, first taste
Of the sweetest feeling I've ever known, that I've known
You're my safe place, safe place
From a world that can be so cruel and cold
You're my harbour, you're my shelter
You're that welcome smile That lets me know I'm home
You're where I belong I belong with you
You're where I belongAnd I know it's the truth
You're part of my heart
There's nothing I can do
Oh, you're the one who keeps me warm
My baby, you're where I belong

Mother's Day/Grace's First Dance Recital

Mother's Day Sunday was super crazy busy. Mark was out of town in Fort Worth and left at the crack of dawn bless his heart so he could meet my mom, my grandma and me for brunch. We went to the Furr's Super Buffet because that is what they wanted to eat. Mark and I then got a small break and then we were off and running again. We both had to get ready for the recital early because I had to head out to do Grace's ballet bun before she arrived. The recital was wonderful and the three year old class did a fabulous job. I had fun watching all the dances and Mark enjoyed himself by singing and dancing in his seat to the songs that played. Afterwards we took tons of pictures of the new dancing star and all of the friends and family. Then we were off to find a place in town to eat at that did not have an hour late which was quite difficult with the fact that it was Mother's Day. We ended up at El Chico and had so much fun but ran our poor waiter ragged with the 12 of us starving and eating all of the chips and dip we could...lol. All in all besides being exhausted it was a wonderful day...
