I am home now, home now
I've been waiting for forever to find you, to find youI
'm not alone now, alone now'
Cause you've taken in my heart from the cold
All I know is everytime I look into your eyes
I know, I know you're where I belong
I belong with you
You're where I belong
And I know it's the truth
You're part of my heart
There's nothing I can do
Oh, you're the one who keeps me warm
My baby, you're where I belong
You're my first taste, first taste
Of the sweetest feeling I've ever known, that I've known
You're my safe place, safe place
From a world that can be so cruel and cold
You're my harbour, you're my shelter
You're that welcome smile That lets me know I'm home
You're where I belong I belong with you
You're where I belongAnd I know it's the truth
You're part of my heart
There's nothing I can do
Oh, you're the one who keeps me warm
My baby, you're where I belong

Mother's Day/Grace's First Dance Recital

Mother's Day Sunday was super crazy busy. Mark was out of town in Fort Worth and left at the crack of dawn bless his heart so he could meet my mom, my grandma and me for brunch. We went to the Furr's Super Buffet because that is what they wanted to eat. Mark and I then got a small break and then we were off and running again. We both had to get ready for the recital early because I had to head out to do Grace's ballet bun before she arrived. The recital was wonderful and the three year old class did a fabulous job. I had fun watching all the dances and Mark enjoyed himself by singing and dancing in his seat to the songs that played. Afterwards we took tons of pictures of the new dancing star and all of the friends and family. Then we were off to find a place in town to eat at that did not have an hour late which was quite difficult with the fact that it was Mother's Day. We ended up at El Chico and had so much fun but ran our poor waiter ragged with the 12 of us starving and eating all of the chips and dip we could...lol. All in all besides being exhausted it was a wonderful day...

My Sweet Caretaker

On Monday morning I told Mark that I didn't feel very good and he thought I just had the Monday Morning Blues!!! I wish that was the problem but it wasn't not too long after that I started getting sick and even called into work which is not like me whatsoever. I never miss work but it happens I guess. Mark was so sweet he took the second half of the day off so he could take care of me bringing me Sprite and Town House Pretzel Flips the only thing I wanted :). He was so wonderful putting up with me. The next morning I wasn't any better or any worse so I stayed home again and Mark spent the morning with me and then went to work and Mark made sure that Grandma was taking care of me. I finally stopped vomiting but I still feel lousy and weak and Mark is leaving town today so I am a bit sad and bummed.

Although there was some humor in the sickly Rikki situation I fell asleep with my crackers in hand and Mark thought I was saving them for later...lol...I just wanted two more...

My wonderful boyfriend

For our one month anniversary Mark sent me beautiful roses I was so excited they were a wonderful surprise! He remembered and made a big deal about the fact that in such a small amount of time he had captured my whole heart.

Meeting My Family

Mark has been a super sport about meeting my Grandma, my Mother and the Misfit family. Within such a short time I have dragged him to many family events and here he is being wonderful at Gracie's Gotcha day celebration.

How Everything Began...

I love St. Patrick's Day so much...It is my favorite unconventional holiday...This year after a long week and weekend of running my center and babysitting five kiddos I finally took the day off...I went to O'Connells to have a traditional Norman St. Patty's Day. Kim had told me forever about some guy that she used to work with that would be perfect for me. So she called Mark and invited him out to hang with us...Mark didn't want to come but for some reason he did with his buddy and we met. Mark asked for my number don't let him fool you on that...lol..we had our first official date on Thursday and we have been inseperable ever since!
